Cornwall Full Bore

Pistol Club

Cornwall Full Bore Pistol Club has been established for over 35 years. The Club prides itself in being able to cater for a wide range of target shooting disciplines for members of all ages and abilities. Lady members are more than welcome and the Club caters for people with disabilities.

The Club meets mainly at two Military ranges - the 25 metre range at Penhale Training Camp near Newquay on average three times a month and is very lucky to be able to use the 600 metre range at Millpool near Bodmin, usually once a month. The Club also has it's own 200 metre range at Trenarren Point near St. Austell.

The main disciplines covered by the Club are Full & Small Bore Gallery Rifle, Black Powder Rifle & Pistol, Long Range Rifle & Pistol, Classic & Antique Firearms and Bench Rest. Almost all courses of fire for the above disciplines are regularly shot in training sessions and Club Competitions. Many members of the Club attend open competitions around the Country including Bisley where very high standards have been achieved and much silverware obtained! The Club has a long history of achievement at the very challenging long range pistol discipline.

The Club provides quality target shooting at a very affordable price, just check out the Membership Fees page! The Club has National Rifle Association qualified Range Conducting Officers (RCO's) and is commited to promoting the safe sport of Target Shooting.

The Club welcomes new members of all abilities and is able to provide coaching at all levels and, of course, the necessary safety training will be given and constantly refreshed. Please use the contacts page to E'mail the Club for further details.
